Create mode games? wtf are those you might be asking. Well here we will cover just that. These are mini-games, that can only function properly within lbp's create mode, or simply function easier there. Simple right? Given that create mode opens different resources and abilities for the players (mainly the spawning of items) these are games that take full advantage of this, and more create-mode-only features. List of games and breif explainations: - 1. Create battles - 2. Battle Bots - 3. The Great RPG of lbp2 There's plenty more you could think up yourself even, here's just a few games to play in create. 1. Create Battles =========================== Create battles in create mode against friends, but with set rules to prevent simple easy victories (or stalemates). Often setup in a team-play or team-based fashion, it often centers on using weapons and vehicles to accomplish an objective first and eliminate the enemy team. 2. Battle Bots =========================== Battle bots is a do-it-yourself fighting game a good friend, emporuto, came up with. You would use a basic sackbot "battle bot" base in order to build your fighter however you wanted, using the same core bot so it was compatible with any battle bot. You would make a "reaction chip" for all the effects, damage, stun etc. data the enemy bot should recieve as well. You then plug in that chip to the enemy bot, as they do the same to yours with their own reaction chip, and you begin battle. 3. The Great RPG of lbp2 =========================== There are 3 incarnations of this game (newest one I never finished but the finished proto-type bot should be within my profile backup files). It wasn't much of an rpg, other than leveling up earning you the ability to change out attacks. Basically to play just pick a bot, put a costume on them and duke it out, for the most part. There are BIG differences between iterations though, I'll list below. *First RPG: It was basically a party fighter with a lot of attacks, the most simple in gameplay and also logic. *Second RPG: It was a 2d fighter, complete with combos, special inputs, commands, etc. Had the most flashy attacks of them all, required placing special HUDs for each character and a control module to make it all work in order to play. Special stages and boss battles were introduced here. *Third RPG: Fusion of the first and second, functions simlarly to second rpg in terms of how to play, plays more like 1 with a bit of 2 though. Not many bots or stages were made for this.
